September 25, 2017

Happy Birthday @Tip T.I. Born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. September 25, 1980. Harris (who is originally from Atlanta, Georgia) released his debut album I'm Serious in 2001. In 2003 he founded Grand Hustle Records along with his business partner Jason Geter. Later that year he released his second studio album Trap Muzik. This album reached Platinum status & includes the hits 24's, Rubberband Man & Let's Get Away. The following year he released his 3rd album Urban Legend, which also went Platinum. This album features the million selling singles Bring 'Em Out & You Don't Know Me. In 2006 he released his 4th album King. This album reached Double Platinum & would be the first of 3 consecutive albums to top the Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart, The R&B Albums Chart and Rap Albums Chart. This album features the smash hit What You Know & Why You Wanna. In 2007 he released his 5th album, The Platinum selling T.I. vs. T.I.P. which includes the hit Big Shit Poppin'. In 2008 he released Paper Trail. This album would be his most successful album to date as it sold over 2 million copies & had 7 singles. This album would also prove to be his most personal album as well as he wrote it while awaiting trial for federal weapons and possession charges. Unlike his past albums, he wrote his lyrics down on paper, which he had not done since his debut album. This album spawned the singles Whatever You Like, Live Your Life & Dead & Gone. His next 2 releases (No Mercy & Paperwork) both went gold & includes the singles Got Your Back & No Mediocre.
