On this day in 1996, West Coast legend Tupac Shakur released his highly anticipated fourth studio album All Eyez On Me. This album exceeded all expectations as it reached Diamond status & spent 2 weeks at #1 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart. The album also topped The Billboard R&B Albums Chart & includes the Double Platinum singles California Love & How Do You Want It. It also included are 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted & I Ain't Mad At Cha. Sadly, this would be the final album of original material by Tupac released during his lifetime as he was gunned down in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996 & died 6 days later.
